Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 11, 2026

1. Information We Collect

When you log in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We do not receive or store your Google password. We also store basic activity such as which rooms you've created or joined, and timestamps of when you joined and left.

2. Voice Data

Voice chat in Talkify uses WebRTC, a peer-to-peer technology. Audio flows directly between participants' browsers. Our servers only handle "signaling" — helping participants discover and connect to each other. We do not record, transmit through our servers, or store any voice audio.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your account information to identify you within rooms, to let room hosts decide whether to admit you, and to allow admins to keep the platform free of abuse (for example, blocking accounts that violate our Terms of Service).

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Your name and profile picture are visible to other participants in rooms you join, since that's how voice chat rooms work. We do not share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account exists. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

6. Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you logged in securely. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by reaching out through our Contact page.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of Talkify after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
